Our role and targets

Quality and growth

DDIM is working hard for public recognition of this profession and for sustainable growth of the interim management sector by:

Targeted communication

We aim to promote both the understanding of professional interim management and its reputation, by consistent and continuous communication from our association. The DDIM packages and coordinates all important communications measures for the interim management sector. It supplies up to date information to trade & industry, to the political world and to the public, acting as a competent and independent representative.

Professional networking

DDIM offers its members professional networking at both national and international levels. Via members meetings, international interim management meetings (IIMM) and numerous regional events, we initiate dialogues on current topics of interest in the field of interim management, on the development of the market and the sector as well as on professional education. Keeping in regular contact to important representatives from industry, media & politics makes sure that DDIM stays in touch with all important developments.

Consistent quality assurance

Representing the interests of the most important quality providers in the interim management market, in 2005 we introduced our own quality seal for professional interim management. The common definition of standardised quality criteria and standards creates transparency and trust, and in this way supports the opening up of new potential in the market. Standardised selection procedures and regular audits ensure that all of our members comply with our high quality criteria.

International cooperation

DDIM works closely together with its international sister organisations, the Dutch "Nederlandse Vereniging voor Interim Managers" (nvim), the Swiss "Dachverband Schweizer Interim Manager" (DSIM) and the English "Institute of Interim Management" (IIM). It is our common goal to produce synergy for our entire profession and to promote the continuous exchange of experience between associations and members, working at an international level as well.

Continuous professional education

To equip interim managers for their demanding jobs and to sustainably extend their quality level, the DDIM offers high standard professional education opportunities. The "Interim Executives Program", organised as part of our cooperation with the European Business School, presents current concepts, tools and methods for every day professional life. Participants are awarded an "Interim Executive (ebs)" certificate on successful completion of the course.
