What are the tasks and objectives pursued by DDIM?
The "Dachgesellschaft Deutsches Interim Management e.V." (DDIM) is the leading representative in the sector and communications platform for professional interim managers and project managers, for employment agencies (providers) and interim management societies. DDIM's main task is to look after the economic interests of its members and to sustainably promote interim management in Germany.
DDIM defines the professional standards, promotes quality assurance and supports the exchange of knowledge between its members.
How does DDIM support the quality assurance of the sector?
To offer clients, the public and new starters in the profession a good measures of orientation and transparency, DDIM has defined clear quality criteria for professional interim management services. Multi-level selection processes and a written voluntary agreement (code of conduct) ensure that all members meet the high requirements set by DDIM.
What are the requirements to become a member of DDIM?
• Qualified education and further education (university degree or similar)
• Many years of management experience (at least 7 years in responsible positions at the first or second level of management)
• Technical and sector knowledge
• Supplementary knowledge about countries or regions, intercultural experience
What options for qualification does DDIM offer?
In cooperation with the DDIM, the European Business School Executive Education has been offering a program since 2004 ending with certification as an "Interim Executive (EBS)". The program was developed in close cooperation with representatives of the science and practice of interim management from DDIM. In addition to that, DDIM offers numerous additional technical events.
